What is an e-invoice?
An e‒invoice is a digital invoice that is created, transmitted, and received in a structured format. This enables automatic electronic processing without media disruption. In contrast, invoices in other electronic formats or on paper are not considered e‒invoices. A PDF invoice sent by email is also not considered an e‒invoice.
